RAND SERIES 2004 DISTRIBUTION BOARDS SUITABLE FOR ZONE 1, ZONE 2 OR GENERAL PURPOSE APPLICATIONS

Rand Instruments Africa (Pty) Ltd is committed to designing and manufacturing of custom built electrical distribution boards for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 and General purpose area classification.

All distribution boards are custom designed and built for purpose to customer requirements to project specific duty requirements.

Apart from standard distribution boards, we offer distribution boards with HMI to enable the user to check the status of all safety interlocks as well as to perform a simulation of interlocks for functionality purposes. This ensures ease of maintenance and assists maintenance staff in checking the safety interlocks without having test equipment such as multi metres when functional test are being performed.

Construction of Enclosure or Distribution Board

Enclosures are manufactured from mild steel powder coated, 3CR12 powder coated, 304 Stainless Steel and 316 Stainless Steel.

The enclosures are built to withstand a pressure equal to 1.5 times the maximum overpressure specified for normal service with all outlets closed with a minimum of 200 Pa.

All doors are furnished with square key locks, and at least one of these locks is pad lockable per door.
