Sample Coolers

RAND Manufacturing

There are different types of coolers to be used, here are a few

Model D903 Open Cooler

The model D903-SS-50L was designed with the objective to cool the sample flowing through it down.

The D903-SS-50L is manufactured from stainless steel. The unit is an open type cooler with no flow through of the cooling medium.

The internal path for the sample is manufactured from ¼” Stainless steel tubes.

These types of coolers are usually used on systems that require cooling periodically and not high volumes at a time.

They are equipped with a lid in order to keep out dust from the environment. They also come with an overflow to ensure the unit is not overfilled. There is a drain valve to drain the cooling medium if required

Unit comes with 3 feet in order to fit it to grade

Model D901 Sample Cooler

The model D901 cooler was designed to cool down gas and liquid samples in a sample handling system.

The D901 cooler is manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel. The unit is a closed type cooler with flow through cooling medium and generally will make use of plant cooling water for this purpose. It is designed so that the flow of the cooling medium will ensure that the cooling effect is optimal hence the cooling water flows through two stages before exiting the cooler.

Cooling water enters from the top and exits at the bottom of the cooler.

The internal path for the sample is manufactured from 316 ¼” Stainless Steel Tube.

These types of coolers are usually used on systems that require continuous cooling and do not need a lot of space.

They are equipped with a flanged lid bolted down with hex set screws. They also come with a drain plug to drain the unit if required.

The unit is equipped with a mounting bracket.
